Clothing

Very simple, the only item you really need is a good veil. Everything else can be fashioned from other clothing. Wellies, overall, that's it. The only other consideration is gloves. Some people don't use them. I do, and you can use rubber washing up gloves. You may be tempted not to wear protective clothing thinking your bees are gentle. Nine times out of ten you may be right but catch them when they are upset for any reason and you will soon know about it. Having been on the end of a multiple stinging incident I always have a veil on as an absolute minimum.
